High School Musical 2

The summer brings excitement to the East High Wildcats as they go over their plans for their break from school. Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) stresses over getting a job, with the price of college looming on his mind, as well as trying to make sure he and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Anne Hudgens) are able to stay together all summer. The final bell rings, and the students converge in song ("What Time Is It?"). As a symbol of his feelings for her, Troy gives Gabriella a necklace with his initial "T" on it on the last day of school.

Sharpay and Ryan Evans (Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel) plan to spend the summer at their family's country club, Lava Springs ("Fabulous"). However, Sharpay's summer plans also include breaking up Troy and Gabriella by getting Troy hired at Lava Springs, and making her move on him. But what Sharpay does not count on is Troy talking the club's manager, Mr. Fulton (Mark L. Taylor), into hiring Gabriella and their close group of friends; this includes Gabriella's best friend, Taylor (Monique Coleman), and Troy's best friend, Chad (Corbin Bleu). Mr. Fulton is unable to fire the "extras" at Sharpay's command, since her mother (Jessica Tuck) approved of their hiring, so she orders him to make them want to quit. Fulton exerts his powers of intimidation upon explaining their place at the club. Seeing how his friends are intimidated and lacking confidence, Troy offers to help his friends working in the kitchen, and convinces them that they can work their hardships out ("Work This Out").

Independence Day

Independence Day (also known by its promotional abbreviation ID4) is a 1996 science fiction film about a hostile alien invasion of Earth, focusing on a disparate group of individuals and families as they coincidentally converge in the Nevada desert and, along with the rest of the human population, participate in a last-chance retaliation effort on July 4. It was directed by Roland Emmerich, who co-wrote the script with producer Dean Devlin.

Emmerich came up with the idea for the film when he was promoting the film Stargate in Europe. Devlin decided to incorporate a large-scale attack into the film after questioning why aliens would travel long distances in space to Earth just to keep hidden. The film's script was written during a month-long vacation in Mexico, and principal photography for the film began in July 1995 in New York City. The film was officially completed on June 20, 1996.

Die Hard 4.0

Live Free or Die Hard, released as Die Hard 4.0 outside the United States, is a 2007 action film, and the fourth installment in the Die Hard series. The film was directed by Len Wiseman and stars Bruce Willis as John McClane, the protagonist of the first three films. Other cast members included Justin Long, Timothy Olyphant, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Maggie Q. The storyline takes place 19 years after the first film, and sees McClane face a gang of cyber terrorists. The film was based on the 1997 article "A Farewell to Arms" written for Wired magazine by John Carlin. The film's North American release date was June 27, 2007.

After the project was initially stalled due to the September 11, 2001 attacks, production eventually began, and the film's title was switched several times. A variety of visual effects were used for action sequences, even though Wiseman and Willis stated that they wanted to limit the amount of CGI in the film. In separate incidents during filming, both Willis and his stunt double were injured. Unlike the prior three films in the series, the US rating was PG-13 rather than R, thus toning down the language and violence by great lengths when compared to the first three films in the series. The original, uncensored version of Live Free or Die Hard was made available for the DVD release.
